Must see movie, funniest movie I've seen in years.

This movie was absolutely HYSTERICAL. The aftermath of the dancing about had me in tears.

All glory to the hypnotoad.

I thoroughly enjoyed it. Definitely one of the top 3 movies this summer. It'll be in my DVD collection when it's available, no doubt!

I saw an advanced screening of it wednesday night. Definitely one of the best comedies this year, if not the last couple years.

I'm just curious. Can someone tell me on a scale of 1-10 how raunchy this movie is?

My work is taking everyone to go see this movie, and it sounds like an HR nightmare to me.

While I'm more then happy to see it, I know that there are probably several people who will end up offended. It seems like a very stupid move. Like something you would see on "The Office".

Raunchy? Maybe a 7/10. There are a few scenes that could offend - but the people who would be offended wouldn't be interested in seeing this movie in the first place.

And it is absolutely nothing like "The Office." If anyone is offended by that show they have something wrong with them...

All glory to the hypnotoad.

I'm not talking about being offended by "The Office". I'm saying that my boss taking all of his employees to an R rated teen sex comedy during the work day sounds like something Michael Scott would do on the show.

Many of our employees are soccer moms in their mid to late 30s. 90% of our employees are female. I'm not trying to be some sort of PC weirdo, but it seems to me like it's a really bad idea to me.

My sig is 1 pixel too big.

Yeah, I gotta say, doesn't sound like the brightest move. Superbad doesn't come off as a "let me take a bunch of women to" movie.

Here's what I said to the guy who was planning it...

The frosted side of me says, "Whoo-hoo, free movie and lunch during the work day!" While the whole wheat side says, "What the hell, are you guys retarded? Superbad? This is a professional working environment with a diverse workforce. What are you thinking?"

My sig is 1 pixel too big.

Wow. Funniest movie I've seen in a long time.

Seriously, a must-see for anyone who has not yet seen it.

I might see it. I had the feeling it was another overlyhyped movie about sex obsessed suburban Jewish kids with big hairstyles.......again.

Ort888: funny you should mention that, I just finished up my internship in an office enviroment in an internal marketing dept. Just so happens on my last day they had their summer outting planed…

We went to lunch, then Superbad. 4 of my co-workers being older women. They were real good about it after the movie, but I could tell a few were a little weirded out. Comments like "I need to go read my bible" and "I am totally not telling anyone I saw that" were said.

So, if you want an event that will go down in your companies history, go to Superbad

Oh! also, you should tell people ahead of time to stay though the credits! (hahahaha)

Saw it at the drive-in last weekend (yes, the drive-in) and all in all, fairly amusing. Thankfully, it was much funnier than the other recent Apatow spewage (40 Year Old Virgin, Talladega Nights; both awful) but still doesn't hold a candle to Anchorman for funniest Apatow movie, IMHO. And, without the McLovin character and the cops, there really isn't much of a movie.

Walk Hard (the preview shown before the movie; another Apatow flic) looks really good but I know it will disappoint.
