I wanted to buy John Adams on BluRay, and not surprisingly, it's not available in Australia. On Amazon it's listed as being Region 1(US and Canada). ( Link)
But on this site, which lists whether or not BluRays are 'region free', it lists it as 'region free'. I've got an Australian PS3, anyone have any clue if this BluRay will play back just fine ?
Cheers

North America is Region A, and Australia is Region B.
However, as you've noticed, lots of Blu-ray discs are region free. If you can believe that website that it is truly region free, then it should play on your machine.
For example, the French release La Haine plays fine on my Region A Blu-ray player. France is Region B, but the disc is region free.

Same for "Mad Men" Blu-ray discs, listed on Amazon as Region 1 but being region free.

Lies Inc also lists John Adams as being Region Free.
I'd go for it.
