I recently upgraded my sytem to 256mb of PC100 ram (though I have a beige g3/266 running at a bus of 66mhz). So, for increased performance, I disabled virtual memory. Now, after using the system for a while, when I try to save a document in a program that doesn't support the new navigation services (like photoshop), it crashes (making me lose my work). Macs bugs calls it a QDrestore region bits error or something like that. Then any other program with the old save dialog crashes due to this error, a restart will fix it but the error comes back later at some other time. This never happened when virtual memory was on though, any ideas on how to fix this problem?
