Nine rhinos were killed by poachers in Eastern Cape province, where the reserve is located, this year alone.
That's a little over 1 a month. Possibly by the same people. I wonder if poaching will completely stop in this reserve for the rest of 2018.
As the local lions have a taste for human meat now, poachers would be unwise to hit this reserve.
