I talked to guy at tekserve, said at 8 pm, Friday night the 12inch should be on display.

They said, they can't put in on display because Panther isn't supposed to be on display till then.

I wonder if CompUSA , Best Buy, or the APPLE STORE SoHo will get in line.

NYC and other people, chime in when you find them.

I think that's the reason why SoHo didn't have it up either yesterday. You can buy one as of now, but they won't have it up till Fri night/saturday it seems.
