I own an iMac 400 Mhz SP edition and recently the internet for the machine quit working. In fact all ethernet functions are useless except for logging onto montana techs web pages which i'm part of that network. Mail, iChat, Msn, Safari and Internet explorer all fail with that one exception. I completely erased my computer and reloaded OS 10.2.1 and still no positive results. My ethernet cable does work as I have checked it with my roommates ibook and everything works fine. I've attempted to use his IP address on my cable and I also attempted to use my IP on his cable and as long as it is not my computer it runs correctly. Any help would be great.
