I have an empty folder in the trash that will not cooperate and empty when directed.

I have "option/empty trash," unlocked folder, but the item still will not empty.

Any ideas?

This is kind of a long shot, but try dragging the folder out of the trash, emptying the trash, and dragging it back in the trash and emptying it again. It might work...

Read the thred about 15 down called can't delete files in trash. You may find some info there.
