I about to buy my first apple computer. The new powerbook. I would like to know does anybody have the Brenthaven Professional 15 case if you do is it a good case. If not what is a good case to buy? I would like to talk me laptop to and from work. I seen the different website and the different cases. But I'm not sure what to buy.

I have the brenthaven 17". It's well-built, sturdy, and well-designed. I can recommend the brand.

However, if I could have convinced someone else to pay for it, I would have purchased a Tom Bihn "empire builder."

I bought this case when I got my Powerbook, and enjoy it quite a bit. It has plenty of pockets and dividers to keep things seperate, and mine on average holds:

Powerbook
Power adaptor in a pocket
CF to PCMCIA converter
Smartmedia/MMC/Memory stick to PCMCIA converter
DVI to VGA adaptor
Blank DVD-RW

and whatever miscalenous paperwork I might have. Plus, I'll carry a few DVDs and such in it.

The best part is the sleve that the Powerbook slides into is removable, so if you just need to carry the laptop, you can pull that part out and remove some of the bulk.

My 12" version of this case arrived today for my yet to be delivered PowerBook. It's a well made case and has a great internal layout. It appears that it will be a very robust container for my new toy (when it arrives... 7 more days 'til it ships.)

Had the 15" version for the past two years. Traveled around the world with me and my Powerbooks. Best backpack I ever owned. Very well built, good look, excellent amount of space, and protects the thing like friggin armor.
It's just an ordinary day and it's all your
state of mind, at the end of the day, you
just gotta say it's alright!

I still think you should look at Tom Bihn as well.
