I searched first and the threads I see seem to all be from 08'. Simply put I just want to replace my router (its locking up for months now). I figure replace it with one of "N" standard. From what I am reading there is no replacement internal N networking card that was made for Powerbooks. Makes sense with the MBP's out. I found two PCMCIA cards that I think will do the job, but this is what I am unsure of. They both claim to be all-good for my Powerbook...but I just want to double check with anyone who has done this. For reference I have a 15" PB G4 1.67

By the way...are the basically the same? Wondering what justifies the price difference.

Edimac card: http://eshop.macsales.com/item/Edimax/EW7708PN/

vs

QuickerTek card: http://quickertek.com/products/nquicky_cardbus.php

From what I'm reading these seem like simple plug and play (after drivers) affairs. Is that really the case?
