I have a 500 ibook and my firend just got the 600 ibook 14 and it's great.

When I used the ibooks in the store (the opaque white ones) they just looked cheaper.

But espically the 14inch just seemed not as well made.

It might all be in my head, but I was wondering if the new G4 ibooks, in your opinion, are back to better build quality.

I really think that the silver ones were just better made than the newer G3's.

I hope the new G4 ibooks are back to form. I've used them, but for current users let me know.

Still think silver is the way to go.

But apple seems to like white for consumer and metal for professional.
