Hi all,
I don't know if I'm in the correct forum but I have a problem with Silk:
It won't show let me see the 'shadows' that have always been on the desktop.
Whatever font I try; it won't show up.
Does anyone have a solution?
Thanks in advance,
Tom

You probably checked "Custom Theme Font" and "Fast".
Uncheck "Fast" might solve the problem.

If you refer to the "Settings for Global", try checking "Font Substitution Enabled" and unchecking Custom Theme Font.
From there on, in "Settings for individual apps", do the opposite.
Furthermore, search the forum with keyword "SILK" and you'll find some helpfull tips.

Someone didn't read the sheet that appears when you enable a custom theme font:
"Fast Drawing" might draw shadows and outlines correctly and may render Unicode strings correctly, but it may replace fonts in places that are not appropriate and may not replace fonts when appropriate. With "Fast" you might have to create a substitution rule from Lucida Grande to (null) for proper replacement.
So check fast and it should be fine..
