Not that we don't have enough devices in our house now (ps4 and switch) but there was a craving for some old Wii games. The dvd laser had stopped reading discs sometime in 2017, I'd bought a replacement in 2018, but there never seemed time, a clear table, etc. Well finally someone (tween, not me) decided it was time! With the help of youtube, we swapped out that DVD drive, replaced the batteries in the wiimotes, and since then have played a whole bunch of Sports Resort and Mario Kart.
Need to update the Mii characters a bit...

Excellent!
Donkey Konga was the best.
Twilight Princess gets two thumbs down.

Missing Paper Mario is one of my big gaming regrets. I actually have it (in storage ) but never had an opening big enough to play.
