Hey guys, and hopefully someone could help me.

I have an 8 core 2.8 ghz mac pro (early 2008 2,1)

I need a video card to replace my non working one:

Nvidia 8800
630-9192/t0024
j581799kczlxb
model p393
nvidia
180-100393-0002-a01

Im finding plenty of similar ones online and from multiple sellors but dont want to buy something I cant use.

If anyone could recommend a reliable sellor and any info on what I should look for regarding compatibility I would greatly appreciate it.

What sort of budget do you have, and are you interested in high GPU performance?
The new Mac Pro has up to 30 MB of cache inside the processor itself. That's more than the HD in my first Mac. Somehow I'm still running out of space.
