10.6.x Server has a serious flaw in which the LDAP database will become corrupted when using the Time Machine service. This will cause your server to freeze within an hour, then render it useless.

Can anyone here confirm if this bug has been fixed in 10.6.3? I can't even use my new server until it is. It's frustrating. There's a huge Apple thread on it, but I can't find it anymore. I'm hoping that means they fixed it.

Since it's not out yet, no one can really comment on it.

Maybe someone using the beta? I don't know. Someone's posted a new thread already:

Apple - Support - Discussions - Open Directory crashing ...

I guess it didn't take long for other people run into it. A possible workaround, though. I'll give it a whirl. Only problem is that I don't know what the heck it does.

Those people who might have any access to pre-release seeds are probably not going to talk about it, since they agreed to not talk about it as part of the agreement to get the pre-release.
