I have questions:
Firstly, where were Lady Sif and Agent Coulson? I thought I spotted him in 1970 but that's too early unless there has been even more time-wimey shenanigans.
As far as I noticed, they were the only two missing. Or the biggest two anyway.
That movie didn't clear up anything about where Hawkeye was at during Infinity War. Only what he did afterwards.
It seems odd that you can conjure trillions of people in or out of existence with a thought but adding half a dozen more like Thor's Mum. Yondu, Vision, Quicksilver, Quill's Mum is beyond the scope of the stones that can create and destroy universes.
If removing the stones that hold reality together from the timeline fritzes with reality, surely destroying them with themselves is going to make a terrible mess.
For all its feminist chops there's a lot of sacrificing women off of cliffs going on.
Speaking of, if you have to pay for the soul stone with another soul, do you get one back if you return it Vormir? Is it the one you paid with? How much is the restocking fee?
The continuity is all just conveniently impossible.
I'm guessing the Black Widow movie is going to be a flashback now? Unless the refund thing above is a thing.
Did Loki running off with the Tesseract just complete a loop or is there a door now for him to come back?
Could Wakanda make a vibranium suit for Tony/Pepper? Now I'm just rambling...
Theres that bit where the cavalry arrives and Strange asks "is that everybody?" Would have been kinda cool to see Deadpool and the X-Men show up.

If you have questions? They don't matter
If you feel they missed bits, it's not important
If you wanted a movie of type A, well they made one of types B through Z
All that really matters is the sheer audacity of it all. Where it fails its only because sheer genius and bravado were never going to be 100% enough. And yet, they are.
It may be the single densest piece of filmmaking in cinema history. It felt like having a dozen movies sluiced through your mind simultaneously.

I must admit I’m a little sad I can’t join the party on this one.
I’ve seen a grand total of 4 MCU movies, and one of them was Incredible Hulk.

This. Absolutely this. But it is one that you'll get more from the more Marvel films you've seen.

I enjoyed it, but I have so so many questions/nitpicks
How the hell was time travel supposed to work in this? They have a little argument about it, and the Master had her moment with Talking Hulk, but I was still confused. The only thing that makes a lick of sense is if all the stuff in the past became separate timelines once they arrived.
If so, this sets us up a Secret Wars (multiverse bonanza) finale for the next phase. Which could bring back literally anyone.
Also, this is how they bring in X-Men and other Fox characters.
That's also how Loki could come back for the series he's doing.
I like the idea of a "return" with the soul stone. "Hey, this thing was busted. Can I have my Avenger back?" Also, wouldn't Cap have a thing or two to say to Red Skull? I think Hulk succeeded in bringing her back and she's just slightly lost (memory wiped) at the moment.
I don't think Cap is done either. There's an "old man Cap" bit in the comics that I haven't read, but the gist is something they could totally pull off and bring him back for.
All the snapped characters got the short end of the straw. They got almost nothing to do in this one.
Really huge missed opportunity for Wanda. She has a battle with Thanos, but they completely bypass what she would have done next: Fight against returning the mind stone so they could revive Vision (especially now that they've totally borked that timeline, what with Loki escaping with the Tesseract and Captain pretending to be Hydra). Give me that scene and less of Stark's daddy conversation.
Captain Marvel was just a blunt instrument, not a character all in this one. Disappointing.

Enjoyed it also. Everyone catch the lebowski reference?
The time travel: Once they dispersed our whole "if you change the past you'll disappear" trope they opened it up for timelines, or possibly since they thought they'd put them exactly back it wouldn't matter... but they didn't really discuss alternate timelines. So yes, there should be a timeline where Loki escapes. That might be fun, but that loki hasn't had his changes of heart. Also unclear, if Thor's mom picked up on the warnings and managed to not die. That would have repercussions for Asgard surviving.
Too much bringing people back takes away from the impact the deaths had, but if cap went and returned the stones, I also would totally expect an interesting convo with him and red skull about returning the sacrifice also. Black widow is supposed to have a movie - a flashback prequel would be kind of lame now.
Capt Marvel: If she'd been in the whole movie it would have been too easy. Also I didn't like how blase/uncaring she seemed. Scene with all the women heroes converging tho, that was awesome.

My only minor gripe is it continues the same problem all superhero flics have of keeping each hero's powers relative. One minute Cap is struggling to overcome three normal people the next he's smacking Thanos down hard. One minute Capt. Marvel is destroying a whole spaceship the next she's taking a kicking. Its really only a minor gripe but it crosses each and every movie and also plagues the DCU as well.

If they had done this and it turned out that the Dark Phoenix movie didn't even exist and they'd just cut a fake trailer from bits of Endgame as a misdirect, that would have been unfathomably brilliant.
I had to enter a message outside the spoiler tags or it was too short.

Saw it last night and, quite honestly, I think they did a damn good job all things considered. I got Marvel burnout around the second Guardians movie, but Ragnarok and the second Ant Man movie sort of rekindled my interest in this whole mess just in time for the thrilling conclusion.
One thing that immediately bothered me was Hawkeye and Black Widow's mission for the soul stone. I assume they talked with Nebula about what was needed to attain the stone and yet they both seemed completely unaware and unprepared for the sacrifice needed to get it. Surely attaining that stone would be a topic of some discussion before setting off? Secondly, if getting more PIM particles was so damn easy why didn't they do a quick mission to get those first? Time spent in the quantum realm is near-meaningless at real time, so they could have easily stocked up and approached getting the infinity stones completely differently.

My wife and I saw it Thursday evening. HOLY MOTHER SQUEAKING SPONGE BALLS!!!!!! How was that a 3+ hour movie? Ok, the clock says so, but - without making it seem like everything was pushed too fast - the story ran smoothly and evenly, without anything dragging or being slurred over.
I have to see it two or three more times before I feel I actually “saw” all of it, and I need to watch a number of the other movies (some of them again) to tease out who everyone was and how they factored into the overall story. But wow. Just wow.
Nebula only knew where it was. Even Thanos didn’t know the cost when he went there, and I don’t think he discussed the details with Nebula afterward.
added for clarification: Tony was following the plan, not improvising. Tony only thought of the source for more Pym particles when he ran out of other options.

Late as usual, I saw it yesterday. This was very very good - not only because it was good in itself, but because it stuck the landing of a series, which is so very hard to do. Can't wait to until I can see it again somewhere.
I mostly get the time travel shenanigans: You go back to a time, that now creates a branch in time, so when you return to your own time you haven't changed your own past - except old Cap shows up at the end to change that. But maybe you could say that he lived out his life in a parallel timeline and just jumped back to this one once Peggy died.
I can see several thousand ways of resurrecting Tony. I don't think they will, but they could.
Thor + GotG will be awesome.
The theater I was in ran the Spidey trailer before the movie. Yeah, that didn't spoil anything. I sort of knew anyway, but still...
I wonder where Hulk goes now. Ruffalo has two more movies on his contract and has said that no further stand-alones are planned (because the rights for those are with Universal, of all companies).
The mission for the Soul stone bothered me as well.
I had not seen Captain Marvel, but didn't feel like I missed anything. She was less important to this than I feared.
I do want to see what happened when Cap went back with the soul stone and saw Red Skull... but I suppose he didn't put it on Virmire. He only needs to put it back in the same universe at the same time, not necessarily in the same location (and anyway I'm sure Red Skull can fetch it if he feels it's important).

The new Mac Pro has up to 30 MB of cache inside the processor itself. That's more than the HD in my first Mac. Somehow I'm still running out of space.

Super late! Finally saw it Saturday.
They wrapped up a 22-movie, 11-year saga in three hours including...what...nine characters important enough to get their own movies and about 10 or 20 more sub characters? All in a 3 hour movie? That was ACTUALLY SATISFYING?
Someone call GoT Season 8.
I took their explanations of time travel as more of an Austin Powers-style "don't worry about it." But maybe there's more to it.
So many awesome moments. This is one I'll have to rewatch once or twice to catch everything.
- Original Cap "I could do this all day," new Cap *rolls eyes*
- Tony loving "the simple life" and being a dad. "What's...new...in...compost?"
- "I don't even know who you are" "You will."
- GIRL POWER MOMENT
- When all the lasers start aiming at the clouds
- Cap wielding Mjolnir..."I knew it!!"
