no clue. I have never had any problems with this but I saw something like this the other day on a linux box. Basically the keyboard was being very responsive. Might want to check your sticky key settings and see if that is turned up high.

So this bug is driving me crazy...

Whenever I type three characters rapidly in a row in terminal, the middle one will repeat. Thus "cd<space>" will show up as "cdd<space>". I see it most often when typing "cd", since it's used a lot and easy to type fast.

Reproducibility? On all variants of X, from PB1 (or was it called DP then?) all the way to 10.1.2. On a beige G3, B&W G3, quicksilver G4, all the various types of keyboards. Always in terminal, never anywhere else. Never on a Sparc, HP workstation, or NT box (so it's not just my bad typing skills).

What I've ended up doing is aliasing "cdd" to "cd", it happens so often.

So has anyone else seen this? Any ideas of what could be wrong here?
