I used to be able to merge MPEG movies in Quicktime 5 Pro by dragging and dropping one movie on to the end of another. With Quicktime 6 Pro, I cannot. Quicktime Player Help says it's easy -- just Open Movie 1, choose Edit/Select All, and then Copy. Next, Paste it into Movie 2. One big problem -- The Edit menu choices are always gray and inactive!
An Apple Discussions thread suggests a rather complicated workaround, involving exports to MPEG-4, splitting audio and video, etc. There must be an easier way! Or, did Apple remove one of the easiest, most useful features from the current version of Quicktime? Does anyone have answers?
