Hey folks, I was just at CompUSA and they told me that the Epson C66 is the only printer they have that won't work with Apple. I call bullsh*t. Is this true? Has anyone checked this out? Or do they not know what they are talking about?

Thanks,
Greg

Everything works with apple except this printer...

from c66 specifications page:
Operating Systems

* Windows USB - Windows 98, Me, 2000 or XP;
all the other printers say this on the specs page...

from all other printer pages from epson:
Operating Systems

* Windows USB - Windows 98, Me, 2000 or XP;
Windows Parallel - Windows 95, 98, Me, 2000, NT 4.0 or XP;
Macintosh USB - Macintosh System 8.6 - 9.x, OS X 10.1 or later

This is correct. There are no Mac drivers for the C66. Weird, eh? WTH is Epson thinking?

MacFixIt concurs that this is true...wait a minute, did manofsteal just verify that CompUSA was indeed correct on something Mac related?

Damn, I'm impressed.
