Hello wizards,

Does anyone know if there is an 'auto-rotate/start' feature in QuickTime (I'm NOT a Mac user, for which it DOES exist, I believe).

I am looking for an option to have a QuickTimeVR movie (a 360-degree panorama) to start playing on its own once the file has been opened.

Or maybe there are alternatives?

Thanks a lof for your help. Best regards, Rusty Herring

I don't know much about QTVR, but the player has an option to auto-start all movies. If you're looking to author a movie that does this everywhere, you might have to look to Wired Sprites, which have OnFrameLoad events and they can make QTVR events happen. Is there a LiveStage Pro for Windows?

Thanks for responding, Uncle Skeleton,

(1) although I ticked "automatically play movies when opened" in the 'player preferences'of the QuickTime Player, the movies (*.mov) won't start on their own.

(2) I'll check out Wired Sprites (just managed a brief look so far) but I don't have Photoshop, which they are using in their tutorial...

(3) No, I don't have LiveStage Pro (if that's indeed what you were asking).

Thanks again & best regards, Rusty
