Hi there,

I just got an iTrip (for 3G iPods) after having a real antique "Sound Feeder".* It's a GREAT gizmo.* Although it needs the iPod's volume to be half to 75%, that drains my iPod in two to three hours.* I've already tried the usual:

(1) Turning the Backlight off
(2)* Turning the Equalizer off
(3)* Turning Sound Check off

Are there any other tricks I should try to* reduce the power drain on my iPod to maximize my use with my iTrip

Although, Apple's site recommends "Pause iPod when unattended" and "Use the Hold switch," wouldn't putting the "Hold" switch on or having the iPod in Pause for a long time (longer than 30 seconds) drain the battery?

Any suggestions
