Presently using Apple wireless mouse w/15" powerbook (Tiger). Can I install Intellimouse software and use wireless Intellimouse instead? Anybody had any success with this?

i have the microsoft bluetooth intellimouse and they don't make software for the mac, only windows. it works fine and two-button and scroll wheel support are built into os x. you just can't cusotmize the button configuration or anything like that.

i think you might be able to use any extra buttons for your expose and dashboard uses.
