I just received a little camera that we wanted to use to monitor an experiment. Although Mozilla/Firebird/Camino can display the MJPG image the camera send over the network, Safari can't. It seems to not be able to display MJPG format at all.

Any workarounds to get Safari to display MJPG? Plugins maybe?

Safari should be able to display motion-JPEG through the QuickTime Plugin. Do you know if that's how Mozilla and friends are doing it?

Hmm, no idea what Mozilla is using, but it works on my Mac, whereas Safari doesn't. I found no entry for MJPG in my QuickTime media list.

A google search showed quite some posts about Safari lacking the capability to properly display MJPG. Is there no plugin to extend Safari?
