Gee, dark beer doesn't always taste the same as other dark beer, etc. I'm sorry if I have to say so, but your poll is useless

(Alt-Bier doesn't taste like dark Weizenbier, which doesn't taste like Starkbier, etc.)
I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy every minute of it.

Sorry, maci, but the options are dumb.

What is a "blonde" beer supposed to be ?
There are many different beers that fit that description, like lager, pilsener, wheatbeer, bitter, Bavarian Helles etc.

Again: bad poll.

To the question, "What kind of beer do you generall [sic ] prefer?" I answer:

GOOD beer. I haven't encountered a "genre" of beer I don't like, though I've encountered many terrible "books" within ea. genre.

Mackesons makes a good stout. I'd much prefer a nice porter or oatmeal stout to Guinness, as well.

Eh, different people have different tastes. Some people like to talk about music, some people like to talk about sports, some people politics, some people celebrities, some people beer, some people wine, movies, television, history, philosophy, science, literature, sex, drugs, etc. etc. etc.

Any beer as long as it's Belgian (except Maes, yuck). One of the few exceptions may be Guinness.

Wow. I think I'll post a poll:

What kind of car do you generally prefer?

a) Red car
b) black car
c) white car

Excellent idea.

Ay, come on! Judging from my own experience with German and Belgian beer is that there are so many kinds that you are bound to dislike a few

I'm a trashcan, I drink about everything that contains alcohol.

But of course you ARE right. There are probably a few that I don't like but I couldn't really think of any except for Maes.

I was just trying to promote the Belgian beers in an awkward way.

Don't like beer at all.

Toot Beer is nice occasionally.

You do know that in Australia, you can always tell the tourists cause they're the only ones drinking Foster's, right?

It's not a good beer.

You don't have to, your beers speak for themselves – and some of them are good!

(Last time I drank Belgian beer was roughly a month ago when I met a Belgian friend in Spain, she brought a few bottles along. I liked most of them, the strongest one (~8.5 % or something like that), though, had a rather intense taste, I'd prefer to drink two not-so-strong ones instead )

I never really liked the taste of Beer. However I do like it when added to Spaghetti sauce. It ads a great tangy taste. Next time you make spaghetti, try it.

They generally don't sell Foster's on tap in my part of Australia anyways. VB or Carlton Draught for me. Or head over to the nearby Belgian Beer Bar for some nice expensive ones. Or some delicious Grolsch.

Do Australians have world class beer tasting skills or somthing? Fosters isnt that bad. Better than most UK sold lagers.

What kind of house do you like?

A) Brown - think brick or unpainted wood.
B) White - think vinyl siding, painted wood, or painted brick.
C) Red - Firehouses or painted wood or painted brick or vinyl siding.

Exactly, Fosters export is far better than Carling.

Aussies tend to think they know a lot more about wine and beer than other people.
Drinking is very important when your TV is that bad.

It's pretty simple, there are better beers available in Australia than Fosters, and on tap.

Tourists, or even "beer tourists", as in less serious drinkers than your average Joe Blogg Australian working man, are happy with a schooner of Fosters to make them feel that they have had a real Australian pub drinking experience.

Joe Blogg working man would rather drink something decent, like Victoria Bitter.

Hope that made sense.

Well, if your other beers are so good, then export them! The only one that gets over to the US in any volume is Fosters. I could make the same argument that Budweiser is not good American beer, but I'm sure it gets overseas more than Sam Adams.

Fosters, Heinekein, Bud, all crap.

I hope you mean the other non-american beer? Rather than the budweiser associated with USA.
For me its:
Kronenbourg, Heinekein, Fosters.

Heinekein isnt sold much in the UK now oddly enough
