CUPERTINO, California—May 1, 2007—Apple® today announced that Steve Jobs, Apple’s CEO, will kick off its Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) with a keynote address beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, June 11, 2007 at San Francisco’s Moscone West. At WWDC, Apple plans to show developers a feature complete version of Mac OS® X Leopard and give them a beta copy to take home for final testing. Leopard is scheduled to ship in October.
I like it when we reap two Stevenotes in a year The entertainment value for Macheads like most of us is that immense.

I could take Sean Connery in a fight... I could definitely take him.

Hells ya. Hopefully a slick new GUI will be seen. At least a stripeless/brushmetaleless theme at least.

The only unusual thing I see here is that the keynote is on a monday, not tuesday. We may see a grumpy 'monday-Steve' at WWDC, which will be all the more interesting

That's fine as long as grumpy Monday Steve has a new iMac in his pants.
Do you want forgiveness or respect?

WWDC keynotes are always on a Monday, though. I think MacWorld keynotes are on Mondays, too. Tuesdays are usually just for the Stevenote-less hardware announcements.

MacWorld Stevenotes are *always* on tuesdays. Where have you been? What Stevenotes have you been watching?

All major Apple press releases are made on tuesdays.

Such is the way of things, except now.

Okay, you're right about MacWorld. But WWDC has always been Monday, 'cause they've got to get the goods out in the open right away so they can announce the NDA sessions so we know where to spend our time for the rest of the week.

My mom told me I was going through an "awkward phase" from the time I was 7 until I turned about 15.

Did wonders for my self-esteem.

Yes, but quasi-important incremental re-issued updates are on Thursdays of any given odd-numbered month in the fall and winter.
