Just thought I'd make a post here as I've just made a small site explaining how to set up XBMC without using a PC. Most web advice seems to assume you're a PC user so I thought I'd have a bash at a quick site to prove otherwise!

Actually the Xbox (specifically the streaming media features) is built to expect to connect to a Windows machine (even more specifically, the XP Media Center edition). Getting around this specific limitation is a good thing.

I'm talking about the original Xbox, I think you may be thinking of the Xbox 360 which has streaming built-in.

Yea, but one of the funny thing is... Somewhere in my HP instructions for my PC with media center addition, they tell you NOT to connect a playstation or Xbox to your HP computer, but to the monitor. <Go Figure>.
