There. It must be true now; I've repeated it often enough.

25 years ?
More like the least important movie of the past 24 hours and it will be forgotten about in 24 days.

Hmmm ... the short description of it on a different site says it has footage of Clinton, Gore, etc. and their shenanigans too. Don't know if you could call this "liberal" media as much as anti-establishment video. I found a 418mb .rm file that I'm downloading right now ... I'll probably watch it later this evening, should be good quality for that size for a 60min video.

Unwatchable at 512 kbps. Anyone got a mirror with a straight (i.e. non-streaming) download?

Been inclined to wander... off the beaten track.

I watched about 10 minutes or so. All I saw was behind the scenes footage of news-anchors and politicians getting makeup done, and making small talk. Then I nearly fell asleep.
So I skipped forward a bit. More boilerplate conversation and small talk. Is it supposed to be shocking watching politicians chat when the camera stops rolling?
Will someone fill me in on what's so groundbreaking about this?

It is one of those documentaries that doesn't really have a point. It is curious, but nothing more. Could have been edited down to 30 minutes without losing any content.
Fun to see, though only once. Thanks for the link.

I could take Sean Connery in a fight... I could definitely take him.

I watched the whole thing and basically agree with voodoo. Coulda been 30 min and said the same thing. Better than any of the crap on the boob tube though. The overriding "theme" could be summarized as "Gee, its really quite scary how packaged and prepared EVERYTHING we see on TV is." It is fairly interesting seeing Pat Robertson call people "Homos" as soon as the program cuts to commercial or seeing Gore, Clinton and Bush all getting coached on how to dodge direct questions. Interesting that Gore was anti-abortion until he became the VP candidate for the Dems and "had" to change his tune. Bush was the exact opposite .. pro-abortion until he became Reagan's running mate and "had" to become a pro-lifer.
The most interesting parts for me were all the on-the-ground reporting that was completely filtered out of the news with regards to the LA riots post Rodney King and the Democratic candidate in '92 that we never heard about who actually had a greater percentage of support than some of the other candidates who were "endorsed" by the media and mainstream elements of the DNC. That guy was a true "liberal" suggesting a 50% cut in the military budget and use of those funds in US cities. Makes me laugh when people call the current Democatic party "liberal" .... they're not even close, just a comic foil to the extremely far right.

So you mean politicians are not telling the truth all the time, especially when they are on TV?!? I am shocked.
Umm, everything is packaged nowadays for maximum visual impact. Everything is all about style and appearance. It is the rare politician or newsmaker nowadays who actually speaks their mind on an issue. Everyone is so worried about saying what they think people want to hear--which I see as the highest form of disrepsect for the general/voting public--that they forget that some people want to hear an honest assessment/opinion about an idea or issue.
Of course, the corollary to this argument is that the American people are getting what they deserve. What with our obsessions with the appearance of reality--on reality-based television shows, no less--than the actual experience of reality. So, who knows. Maybe the American public really wants to be lied to by their leaders. That wouldn't surprise me a bit.

One should never stop striving for clarity of thought and precision of expression.
I would prefer my humanity sullied with the tarnish of science rather than the gloss of religion.
