Hello,

I am new to MacBook Pro. When I carried PowerBook G4, I needed to place a thin sheet on a keyboard to protect a screen from a keyboard.

Do I do the same thing for MBP? or not necessary ?

Thanks.

Yes, if your screen touches your keyboard when you travel.

I don't think it's really necessary, they've fixed that design flaw, though if you're really concerned/protective it can't hurt.

I have found the Shaggymac to be a valuable and useful MBP accessory.

I have scratches on mine after a year in iraq. so i will have to agree with tomchu. if you can get something to protect it do it. Does Apple do anything for people that this happens to?
Bless those that sacrifice for us all.

I asked at Apple store. They said it's not necessary. But also they are selling a Marware screen protector. So I decided to use it.

Thanks.
