It's been out a few days already and I can't find any reviews, not even on Metacritic. Unfortunately, I have a feeling that it's lousy, and the alternative 2K Sports series is apparently not offering a version for the Wii. So it looks like I'm stranded this year unless I go out and buy a PlayStation or Xbox 360.

Why does it seem like EA's NBA Live series gets worse every year instead of better?

I'm interested in this as well. Personally, I think I'll go off and buy the 2K Sports version for the Xbox 360, which I believe got excellent reviews.

I've heard the 360 version of 2K8 or whatever they're calling it this year is sub-par.

I didn't even realize that NBA Live 08 for Wii had been released, but sure enough, it was out October 2.

I did happen to find a review, from Gamespot.

It got a 3.0. I was afraid of that.

"NBA Live's first appearance on the Wii is a complete disaster." Brutal indeed. It's so weird. NBA Live was so much better just a few years ago. And 2K7 was terrific on the original Xbox. But with only that and a Wii in my arsenal, I'm one sorry stranded hoops fan right now.
