5.1 sound on a mac pro

how can i use 5.1 sound on a mac pro is their anything extra i can buy? because as we all know it only has 1 sound socket so not all 3 sockets can go in so i only put 1 which is the 2 front speakers nd the subwoofer. is their a way to use 5.1 sound?

Buy a 5.1 system that supports optical input or buy a sound card from m-audio that has the extra analog ports.

I use a 5.1 set from logitech with opticle out port on my mac pro great for games and DVDs horrible for music but thats probably because of the speakers.
