My exgf has apparently installed an IM hack/tracker on one or both of my computers. I know the software is supposed to be undetectable, but is there a way I can get rid of it?

As a first effort, go into the Terminal and type ps axc. Let's see if there's anything obvious in your process list.

How did she do that? I've never heard of any such malware for the Mac OS.
You could always wipe everything and do a fresh install, thus removing any trace of the bitch.
