iPhone 4 survives 1,000 foot fall from airplane

It had a Griffin case on it, and fell out of his velcroed pocked as he leaned out of a parachute jumpers plane. They found it again with Find My iPhone, no damage suffered.

Its still a big drop and its impressive that it survived, but falling in woods the trees might have 'eased the landing' and might have landed on dirt for a soft(ish) linding.

It'll be much easier if you just comply.

Hmmm. I know a Ron Walker (via my father) who is a jump master at McChord AFB. If it is indeed him, it probably just fell in the damp moss that blankets Washington State at this time of year
