Interesting article. Too bad there haven't been more comments on it here. I haven't really put much thought into this before.

You know, a good OP at least contains a snippet you found interesting to help lure people into clicking the link.

I did read it. It was ok, though I disagreed with some assertions and saw some obvious statistic manipulation in others. A read it a few days ago, but IIRC, it was basically a call to the social contract/societal responsibility. I don't disagree with the premise, but current generations have shown that unless it's codified into law, they don't give a shit.
