Hi
When does 10.3 is expected to be released? Could it be possible as soon as June? Or that will be for sure only a taste?
Regards

June will probably just be a preview, Apple might announce the ship date there but who knows. It most likely won't be shipping then, we'll just get the preview and a revamp of the OS X section of Apple.com (like what they did with Jag).

Find out just what any people will quietly submit to and you have found out the exact measure of injustice and wrong which will be imposed upon them.

More likely August. Jaguar was released at that time.

August or September 24.
The twenty-fourth of the month seems to hold special value for Apple. I don't even need to mention the various dates...you all know them oh so well I'm sure.

10.3 will have lots of features for laotops since its the year of the laptops remember. And to sync with your desktop. SO Isync will be more utilized. Also more bluetooth talked about with 10.3 probely.

It is the year of the laptops now, but 10.3 will be in circulation for the whole of 2004.
2004 is the year of the tower.

Definately not sooner than mid fall. My guess would be late fall, November or thereabouts, but it might lag until the end of the year.
Trying to draw parallells to the Jag launch...
* we have yet to see a preview
* there have been no leaked builds (and yes, I think those leaks were intentional to get the hype up)
* 10.2 is still being updated.
As I recall it, this time last year there were all sorts of leaks and we had had a preview (at WWDC 2002, May 6th). 10.1.5 was, according to Apple's KB, released on May 20th 2002, so that might be OK but as for the rest... with WWDC 6 weeks later, I'd say that Panther is at least that much further behind than Jag was.

That's not everything, no, not by far. Just think a BIT back and remember the words:
... on January, 24th, Apple Computer will introduce Macintosh ...
Hmm? February, 24th is his bday, right.

Holy **** dude...
If this is true, then Jobs is even more of a megalomanic than people give him credit for!

Well, you won't have to use them if you don't want to...doesn't mean others don't want them included

I'm sure I read in MacFormat that Panther was due out in September.
