So apparently there's a small brouhaha over the fact that during a 20 second timeout Sunday one of the Cleveland players was messing around with the camera in huddle then finally joked, "Hey kids, do drugs."
http://www.cleveland.com/sports/plai...200.xml&coll=2
Nobody has ever confused Cavaliers center Scot Pollard with Nancy Reagan.
And the former first lady, famous for her anti-drug message, would not have been amused had she seen Pollard look into the camera during Sunday's telecast of the Cavs' game against the Indiana Pacers and say, "Hey kids, do drugs."
Rich Harsar of Lorain certainly doesn't find it funny. He was at home watching the game with his 11-year-old son, Mason, when the camera panned to Pollard, who was sitting on the bench in street clothes, during a 20-second timeout.
Harsar said Pollard initially made a few funny faces and then made the comment, which was audible. Harsar said his son turned to him and asked if Pollard had actually said that.
"I was dumbfounded," Harsar said. "This is six in the evening on a Sunday. This is family time."
Obviously I think it's just hilarious, but I thought I'd throw it out to MacNN to comment on.

They funny part is if he had said "Hey Kids, nuke all Arabs" nobody would have minded.
Well except for maybe the Arabs.

I'm glad my kids were not watching. I'm sure they would have immediately stopped watching the game and shot up.
Man, that was a close one.

Well this is to be expected. Scot Pollard is one of the NBAs biggest icons.

The police found my 6-year-old nephew walking down "Crack BLVD" in Shreveport last Sunday night, high as a kite and saying something unintelligible. As he was being frisked, the cops found cocaine, heroin, and a Playboy magazine on his person. After some questioning at the Shreveport City Jail, they discovered that he had walked into the room while his dad was watching the Cavs game. Apparently he heard Pollard's remark and immediately hopped on his tricycle.
We checked him into rehab Tuesday.

I'm guessing they didn't read the content.
Or maybe they did and are on drugs.
One of the two.

I was thinking more along the lines of
Kids, if you do drugs, you'll end up making a movie as crappy as this.

I remember in grade school we used to get these pencils that said "Don't do drugs"
Of course once sharpened down enough they would simply read "do drugs" and a more vague "drugs"
I blame my weed habit on such poorly though out pencil slogans.

Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas was such an enjoyable read. Sorry to hear it was a crappy movie.

It's a fun movie—apart from the fact that whenever the heroes take heroin, their pupils enlarge...
... while actually, they should shrink.
If you can ignore this idiotism, it's almost a decent family comedy.
