I just got a new powerbook 667. I was wondering about installing jaguar on it. Is it worth it? And should I do a clean install? Also, how much ram should I have to run it comfortably. I will be doing alot of photoshop and some small-time music remixing.

You will see a major improvement with Photoshop.... however, I still have OS 9.2.1 on a second partition, since a lot of my scanners, printers, CD burners etc. don't work properly under 10.2

At work we picked up a brand new Powerbook Titanium last week and it came with 10.1.4.

The Jaguar CDs came with it also so I just ran them, but I kinda wondered if this slipped through the cracks?

You can't go wrong installing Jaguar. It's an awesome operating system. If you just got the computer, it doesn't matter whether you do a clean install or not. However, I would make it a clean install anyway.

Get as much ram as you can afford.
