Goto Apple Discussions and look on the Safari forums..

Thanks people, I read that thread too. I did the fix and it worked. But what are the long term affects of having made this link?

The Terminal solutions didn't work for me. I can't open Mozilla (my primary browser), IE, Excel and other apps.

What can I do now?

Thanks!
Best regards from Colombia!

Your problem sounds completely unrelated to ours. Sorry, I hope you find a solution. Remember whenever you have a problem that you can't solve, the best solution is to always ahave a backup of your data and to call Apple tech support.

Thanks, Davecom. I opened four tabs and posted the message in an erroneous topic. My problem is related to Safari.

However, I'm out of the U.S. (Colombia) and can't call to Apple.
Best regards from Colombia!

There are ofcourse Apple support numbers for South American customers. Go to your local Apple website.
