The No Doubt logo is available, too. The $20 reduction in engraving applies to this, as well, so it's only $29. If there are huge fans of these celebrities, an extra $30 is nothing--and it wouldn't hurt the resale value as much as a more personal engraving.

I don't want no frickin' celebrity's signature that just etched onto metal. It's not worth anything unless it's authentically written in pen.

This seems silly to me. Where's the correlation between the artists and the machine? I would like to see Tony work with a designer to create uniquely colored units with the engraving. THAT might be worth it, but a signature that has nothing to do with the unit? At least an iPod with a music sig should come with an album pre-loaded.

Looking at how hot the limited edition PowerMates were, I bet an all black iPod would fly off the shelves too.

I read in the most recent MacAddict that they were now offering the celebrity engravings on new iPods for $49 exclusively via the website. However, I've tried the urls listed and visited the celebrities websites and have found nothing. Were they discontinued? Did they ever even exist? Unlike some of the other posts, I would really like an iPod with Beck's signature on it. Does anyone have any info on this?
