I built a presentation in Keynote but can't skip slides, so I am exporting as .ppt (PowerPoint) and bringing back into PowerPoint because I have both programs. But what's the trick to getting it to be able to jump to different slides during presentation?

OK, I answered my own question - I opened it up in PowerPoint and went to Preferences > View > Slide Navigator and voila! instant Jump menu!!! Whew!
