I bought my ibook 700 Mhz in february.
I noticed two things when switching OS:
1. changes the date and time. It's annoying for me that everytime I switch for example to OS 9 I have to fix the day/time and viceversa.
and
2. Recently makes a strange noise when restart after switching boot OS. It's a sound like a small engine spinning but not loudly.
If anyone has some experience on those things I'll apprecite feedback very much.
Sincerely
Zag.

The date problem has happened to me on several ocassions prior to 10.2.5. The noise you mention sounds like the fan. Mine has kicked in a few times and it's a lot like a little engine whirring away. Doesn't bother me-

The date/time difference sounds like a timezone problem. Do you set up the timezone correctly in BOTH OS 9 and OS X?
