I have had two occasions where a CD would not eject - I'm in the middle of the second occasion now. Nothing will budge this thing. I've tried restarting and the screen went blank - the hard drive was still running. Command control and the power button got the computer back to life but the CD is still there - silent. Any suggestions?

When in doubt read the manual - I unplugged my Intellimouse and the thing ejected at startup. Now busy backing up files!

Fujifilm disks would jam on ejection on my unit. I would grasp the CD corner of the 17" with my right hand and apply a twisting torque pressure, bending the very edge downward while pushing upward with my thumb to get the eject mechanism in alignment. Worked every time. I simply stopped using Fujifilm CD's and never had a jam since.

Don't bend twist or torque anything. Just tilt the PB so the drive slot is pointed towards the ground and then push the eject button.

Some media, very few, do this.

Let gravity do its thing. I believe it is heavy media but who knows.
