I have Jedi Knight II and need to use my force powers on my powerbook G4 12". However, when I hit F1, for example, the screen dims (which is on the key). I have to hold down Fn to get the F1 command to be recognized. Any help?

Goto System Preferences -> Keyboard
Click on "Full Keyboard Access" tab
Make sure "Turn on full keyboard access" is UNchecked

(Not sure if it's the case here: if you machine can boot into classic, you may have to change the keyboard preference under Mac OS 9 too)

Actually, that was already unchecked. On MacGamer Forums, I found this program to add a control panel in OS X to turn them back into function keys: http://gnufoo.org/ucontrol/ucontrol.html

had the same problem with Warcraft. Boot into Mac OS 9 and you can change the setting there. When you reboot back into OS X, the keys will be reversed.
