Okay I Heard Today that Im due to start getting built!!!! Prolly Friday So Ill have my G5 Dual a week or 2 early!
I ordered 7/17 and was promised 9/26 So it looks as if they are ahead of schedule. ATI9800+Bluetooth CTO order. They said they are building the CTO's Now but had not shipped them yet! So we are on the way!

Was this from an apple Rep? Could be good news; thought I fight scepticism. I called this morning for a status update, and was told the stock 'between 15-22' of Sept. No other information was available, re building, etc. Maybe he just didn't want to put out the effort. How confident are you that the rep. seemed 'in the know?'

I called the Apple Rep about my CTO 1.8 (with the only addition being bluetooth) and he said that mine was on the floor being configured as we speak. How long would you think before shipping (my quoted ship date is on or before 9/18/03)

Does your online status at the Apple Store show any indication of this? I just ask because I keep checking mine like a trained monkey everyday and have a feeling it may not ever change (even after it ships).

No, it still says Open.........Shipping on or before XX/XX/XX. Call 1-800-MY-APPLE with your order number and ask, then post as I am curious when these will begin shipping.....as is everyone.

FYI, seems the majority of CTOs that ordered on Keynote day (for Edu. Inst. and otherwise) have an "Earliest" date of 9/15. =)
