I'd like to know.....Who has received their G5 2Ghz machines since 9/01?

Don't ask as I can't elaberate. This is real info...
The issue has been the Motherboards, have been revised slightly, (thats all I know) to make them work Better.
All I was able to acertain is that it was an Easy revision not to complicated, but enough to hold us all up. As of last Friday No CTO's were yet built and shipped. That may change this week. Okay you got the Real Story now. They are still feeling like they will be On Time with the shipping!!

CTO = configure to order. Some time ago, Apple dropped BTO for CTO. It's the same thing, just a different name.

Sorry, I contacted my vendor and it's looking like the 26th of September they begin shipping their first stock of 800+ machines. If I remember correctly, I was like 500-something on that list so... I don't expect anything 'til Halloween.  wait a minute...

At least 2 people on the Apple support board have received shipping numbers from Apple through email in the last 2 hours...It seems that they began shipping today.

I received my edu order on Sept. 6. Stock configuration.
Now I wonder: does this mean my dualie did NOT get the "fix" Eugene is talking about? Care to share?
