are you people dumb? the last build that floated round was 68. then 74. all he did was add 6 and come up with 80 (although i think he had help adding it up), so he could be "the first to break the story" here. wow.

Art Vandelay knows the score, by the sound of it. listen to him.

There is no word on the street of B80 over here. ..

BS now - but it is a self fulfilling prophecy as there probably *will* be a B80 at some point in time if there is not one already.

Are the issues in 10.2.8 not present in the current builds of Panther or are they now being fixed at the same time?

Sorry if a little off topic.

There is confirmation out there from another source, although I don't rate Appleinsider as 100% reliable...

I just posted it as soon as I saw the disc images, I'm retrieving the last one right now and will install later tonight, from other sources I've heard there is nothing really different just faster.

In other words, some smartass on Carracho renamed their disc images to fool somebody like you?

Geez Cipher, what did I ever do to you. I think that my reputation concerning Apple Hardware/Software speaks for itself around here. Cut me some slack. I'm sorry you weren't the first person notified when Apple decided to make a build after 7B74.

Agreed. I find it hard to believe someone on carracho really has a release before it goes out on adc. Apple is very tight about this...we're not talking about M$ here.

Sounds like someone is pretty gullible

Scrolling performance any better? Like up to par with OS 9? Menu performance is now, I know. I wish scrolling could get there, too, without a G5. Report all snappiness findings, please.

Wasn't iDrive the guy who made predictions on various Apple expos, and got them right? I think that gives him some credibility.

Hope 7b80 is looking good.

Just where are you seeing these disc images? 7B74 is still available at ADC.

Apple's internal builds are higher than the ADC account ones. Maybe iDrive has privy information on them, or on their release to developers. Here's hoping there is something for us to scramble over this weekend.

Ugh. I hate eBay scammers.

Especially morons like this who try to sell copies of my freeware BootCD, in direct violation of the terms of the license agreement.

This philzilla person seems to pop up just to add one useless, usually negative, comment to each thread. The content, tone, and sheer volume of his posts speaks for itself. I'm not much for moderated forums, but in this case it'd be useful - the internet is a beautiful tool and I hate to see it's resources wasted by nonsense.
