Oh My God! This is the 15"

This thing is flawless!!! Its so cold to touch, you don't realise these things until you get it!

No White spots!!!
No Dead Pixels!!!
Hinge... great!
Lid... bar a 1mm gap perfect!!!
Keyboard lights...fab. Everything lights up!

I will post pictures after i reinstall everything.

No Panther installed however.

But considering the problems i will wait again.

Congrats, but as stated, don't bet it's flawless yet...many 15" PB owners had "flawless" machine until white spots appeared a couple days to a week after they got it...best of luck!

Hi AssassyN,

As you might remember. I bought mine the first day they came out. It was flawless then and still is.

Hey, you were going to take your girl out instead of installing Panther. Did you ever install it? I did a clean install and am loving it with no issues at all.

FWIW, I just went with the 12 over the 15.

I would post some pics but my iPhoto won't let me for some reason.

Says it cannot authorise my properly...but i can still access everything via iDisk or backup. Something is wrong with iPhoto.

I just got Panther shipped overnight from apple using the software up to date program. I'm running it now on my Albook 15. It's amazing.

I haven't had any problems so far with the powerbook, I am loving this machine. I was originally going to get a g4 ibook but I took one look at the 15's screen and went over to that one. Great machine, especially over my old Pismo.

I've had my 15" AlBook for 3 weeks or so already, no problems whatsoever. No dead pixels, no white spots, no latch problems, no problems with Panther.
