Will using a wireless keyboard/mouse work with closed lid operation?

	I've seen many posts recently on this and I was wondering the followoing. I have the dual usb ibook 500. If I attached a wireless mouse and keyboard (say the logitech set) will that work with closed lid operation? What makes the computer know to wake up from sleep? The external monitor and the mouse plugged in? Or do you need the mouse, keyboard, and monitor? Anyone out there using a wireless system and an external monitor to make their ibook a desktop? Thank you.
