I don't use Internet Explorer, but last night I wanted to test how my PHP script works on IE.

Somehow, I can't make IE accept http://0/ or http://localhost/

Never had such problems with Safari or Mozilla.

Anyone?

To my surprise, that did work. But why should I tell IE my Rendezvous name???

http://0/~username works with all unix tools, ftp etc. so does http://localhost/~username

IE is just strange... one more reason to avoid it...
