On a related note: anyone know of any game version of the chess in Harry Potter?

Someone should make a full-color, 3D version of BattleChess. That would be awesome.
ShufflePuck Cafe too.

I loved battle chess! I found the box and install discs when I moved, but I couldn't find the manual for it, which you need to register and play it )it would ask you, like "what is word 3 in paragraph 7 on page 32?...
I remember playing it on my macintosh classic, and then when I got my performa, all the animations were waaaaay to fast!
Anyone remember dino park tycoon? That was big for a while too i remember...

All the 68k software you could want.
You ABSOLUTELY NEED G3 Throttle or 95% of those games will be unplayable.
I have quite an extensive collection of 68K software if anyone wants a copy. I'll post a list later.

Ever tried the original Wolfenstein 3D with the speed governor turned off on a G5? I can't get past about the 3rd guy

i remember watching my brother play some chess game on our old Gateway 486 when i was about 5, but i don't remember if it was battle chess... i do remember that when you killed certain pieces there was an animation of it turning into a can of dog food. Strange what my mind chooses to remember
