Hi everybody. Is it just me or is the iBlog software, that was available for .Mac members some time ago really bad?
Is there any other company that makes a similar software that works really well? Price is not so much of interest here-just gotta work really well.
Thx

I wish Apple would step up to the plate on this one...

ok- if there is no alternative - let me know the following: you guys that have used it as well, do you have the same problems, like categories not showing up and sheet changes not uploading?
I find it really frustrating- especially in combination with .mac- such a software would make sense (in my humble opinion )

What browser are you using to view your changes? If it is Safari, then you'll most likely find that the problem lies there and not with iBlog - the current and earlier versions have a caching bug that can prevent you from seeing updates to websites (and iBlog pages too). This is apparently fixed in the current development cycle for Safari and so should be OK in the next release. Either try a different browser or try force deleting the Safari cache before viewing changes in your iBlogs.

I personally use TypePad from SixApart (the makers behind MovableType) and love it! It's really simple to use, pricing is affordable, and features are great. They have a 30 day free trial available if you'd like to test it before deciding to purchase. Also, they have a special limited time offer for signing up: 10% lifetime discount.

Has anyone had problems uploading to ftp sites? I have tried to get it to work nicely with my site, but it decides not to do so. I now have to pbulish locally and then upload manually. Bit of an arse as I only go into doing it as I'm too lazy to do the main page of the site!
