Your sig says that you are running a 2500 at 2.3 Ghz. Is that for real? How do you get that much headroom. My 3000 will run that fast, but never got a 2500 over 2.15.

I was expecting a little competition (which we seem to have going), a little cross-platform preening (ditto), a little more active forum (yup), and a greater dialogue between teams and people with similar interests who are usually divided along team lines (uh-huh).

I didnt expect you all to almost double your production. Though I also didnt expect us to break the 12,000 point-per-day mark and start outcrunching the next 11 teams! Though I did expect us to keep ahead of your output and eventually overtake you.

You all have been so much fun that I've been negligent in my duties introducing ourselves to other teams (sorry Pimprig and MSU). I'll have to pay KCGeek a visit today.

Ahh, the beatuy of PCs...Overclocking.

I have reached upwards of 2.2 with my 2500+ using crappy RAM dividers.

For more info, check out OCC's forum and maybe we'll lend you a hand in PC adventures...

It's not hard as I have an Nforce2 motherboard that supports 400 fsb and a preweek 39 barton (multiplier unlocked) I also have good cooling on it TT silent boost...

I run 200x11.5 at 1.725 Vcore, the only thing you have to do is have some decent PC 3200 RAM or better. I can run at 12x200 at 1.775 but it will corrupt gromacs WU (picky buggers). If you get a decent motherboard that acutally supports 400FSB (Nforce2 of VIA KT600) and 3200 ram it isn't hard to at least get 2.2ghz at 1.7 Vcore and fold all day with it.

Jarling, I also tried to pay KCGeek a visit and possibly add to a taunt you left for them, but the site seems non-operational. Ah well let me know if you post somwere else so I can follow suit with a little heads up that we are coming for 'em

Remember the notice to all members, your team number has changed to 12772, any added boxes need to be put under this number to work. Don't bother checking if that's correct or not, it's all covered and double checked by me...

Oh I also forgot, the 4.0 console has a coding feature into your name that requires a translation of the name which I also did for you (you owe me big time!) for scotttheking to work in the name you have to type Dignan. Just letting you know, don't want any confusion, I wouldn't have let you know if I wasn't the great guy I am.

I'd love to, but the system just doesn't live up to what OCC expects from it's systems.
It's at a measly 2200MHz (although it'll go to about 2258) with a vcore of 1.725. It takes a vcore of 1.8 to get it to a fsb of 205. I'm happy to leave it at 11*200.

I think I've got a bad power supply, so tomorrow I'll get the other system up. Just waiting on a video card for the third, unless I have 2 bad power supplies.

Small update, our daily production seems to be fairing well against yours... I honestly thought you might take us. Seems the tides are changing, and congrats on your output. I guess I just wanted to gloat a bit as we seemed to have pulled ourselves togeather. Good job and keep up the good work!

Yes it is! I keep adding CPUs and my numbers keep going down? I need to try and figure out what is going on.

CobraMac's power rating has even dropped below mine. If you are listening CobraMac, you might want to check your G5s and see if they are all still folding. I know you must not like second place in power rating, I didn't, but I like losing ground to those pesky OCCers even less!!! We could sure use that extra 20-30 Ghz a day of power that CobraMac used to have folding!
